Day 1

Depart from Luton airport for the flight to the Holy Land, on arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, we will be met by the tour guide, who will be with us each day during the Pilgrimage. The coach will transfer us to Bethlehem to check in to our hotel, dinner is provided on arrival.

Day 2

After breakfast, we start the Pilgrimage by celebrating Mass at the Nativity Church, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, we visit Beit Sahour to visit the Shepherd's Field. In the afternoon the coach transfers to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist to visit the church that commemorates his memory, we also visit the Visitation Church. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, the coach takes us to the of the Mount of Olives; visit the Chapel of the Ascension and Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught the Lord's Prayer to his disciples, here you can enjoy the panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. We walk through the Palm Sunday route to reach Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over the fate of Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations ( Mass will celebrated in one of the chapels). We then visit the Western Wall, and Mount Zion, visit the upper room where Jesus had his Last Supper with the Disciples, Tomb of King David and Church of Dormition, then walk to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was held for a night after he was arrested from the Garden. We return to Bethlehem in plenty of time for dinner.

Day 4

This morning we walk the Stations of the Cross from the Via Dolorosa, to reach the most sacred place for Christians, "The Church of the Holy Sepulcher" we visit the Golgotha and the tomb of our Lord. Then continue on to visit St. Anne's Church where the parents of Virgin Mary lived, nearby view the Pool of the Bethesda. We then travel to Bethany where Jesus raised Lazarus from the death, visit the tomb of Lazarus, Mass will be celebrated here.

Day 5

Today we proceed through the Judean Wilderness to ancient Jericho for Mass, the oldest inhabited city in the world. From the top of the ancient "Tel", you will enjoy a beautiful view of Elisha's fountain, the Mount of Temptation and later the Sycamore Tree. drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, from here we visit the Dead Sea for those who may wish to bathe, if not you may simply want to relax with a drink, an ice cream or browse the souvenir shop. We return to the Hotel for dinner.

Day 6

After breakfast check out of the hotel for the journey north to Galilee, en route we visit the River Jordan where you can renew your Baptismal promise, Mass will also be celebrated here. We visit Mount Tabor the place of the Transfiguration of Jesus, we then check in to our hotel in Tiberias for 2 nights stay.

Day 7

After breakfast we Start the day by celebrating mass at on the Sea of Galilee. We then continue on to Capernaum; the home of our Lord during his ministry, visit the synagogue. Drive to the site of multiplication of loaves and fish "Tabgha", continue on to visit the Church of St. Peter's Primacy. Ascend to the top of Mount of Beatitudes the scene of Jesus' great Sermon on the Mount, there will be some free time in Tiberias before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 8

After breakfast we visit Cana where Jesus turned the water in to Wine, from here we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation for Mass in Nazareth We then make our way back to Tel Aviv to join the flight back to Luton.

Vaccine Passport

You will require a vaccine passport to travel on this Pilgrimage, which means you must have been fully vaccinated, you can get a paper copy by calling 119 or a digital copy by downloading the NHS App to a smart phone and registering via the App.

All Pilgrims must have adequate travel insurance for this Pilgrimage, travel insurance should be taken as soon as you pay the deposit so it covers you for cancellation.
