Medjugorje from Manchester

Medjugorje, located in Bosnia & Herzegovina, is the site of the 1981 Marian Apparitions. On June 24th 1981 six children witnessed the Blessed Virgin Mary on what is now known as Apparition Hill. The apparition of Our Lady had a message of peace for the world, as well as a call to conversion, prayer and fasting. She appeared to them with an infant in their arms and confided several secrets to the children. Some of the children, now adults, continue to witness Our Lady’s apparitions.

Day 1

Depart Manchester for the flight to either Dubrovnik or Split. On arrival we transfer to Medjugorje.

Days 2 - 7

Our local guide will accompany you throughout the week and will help plan your daily Pilgrimage programme. Each evening at dinner the schedule for the following day will be posted in the dining room. Just some of the Pilgrimage programme you can follow throughout the week are:
English Mass each morning at 10am at St James Church. At 5pm each evening we will join local villagers and pilgrims to pray the Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary and the Blessing of the Sick. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, there is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. For those that can, we will walk up Apparition Hill on one of the days reciting the Rosary along the way, a full day excursion to Mostar is included.

We depart today and return to either Dubrovnik or Split to join the flight back to the UK.

Hotel Leone

The Hotel Leone is a four star hotel located in the center of Medjugorje, only 150 meters away from the Saint James Church. The suites & rooms are decorated in accordance with the latest trends and promisea relaxing and memorable stay in Medjugorje.

Vaccine Passport...

You will require a vaccine passport to travel on this Pilgrimage, which means you must have been fully vaccinated, you can get a paper copy by calling 119 or a digital copy by downloading the NHS App to a smart phone and registering via the App.

Covid-19 requirements...

If you have been fully vaccinated you are not required to take any PCR or Antigen test to visit Croatia or Bosnia, you will be required to take an Antigen test within 2 days of arriving back in to the UK, these tests have to be booked and paid for before travel (approximately £15 per person), a unique reference number will be allocated when you book the test which has to be put on your passenger locator form before returning to the UK. It is expected that the Antigen testing for travel will no longer be required for fully vaccinated travellers after January 2022.

All Pilgrims must have adequate travel insurance for this Pilgrimage, travel insurance should be taken as soon as you pay the deposit so it covers you for cancellation.
