Day 1

Depart from Manchester airport for the flight to the Holy Land, on arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, we will be met by the tour guide who will accompany us to Bethlehem, check in to the hotel for dinner and 5 nights stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we start the Pilgrimage by celebrating Mass at the Nativity Church, the birthplace of Jesus, we then visit the Shepherds Fields in Beit Sahour. In the afternoon the coach transfers to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist where we visit the church that commemorates his memory, we also visit the Visitation Church before returning to the hotel fro dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast, the coach takes us to the of the Mount of Olives; we visit the Chapel of the Ascension and Pater Noster Church where Jesus taught the Lord's Prayer to his disciples. We walk the Palm Sunday route to reach Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over the fate of Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations ( Mass will celebrated in one of the chapels). We then visit the Western Wall, and Mount Zion, visit the upper room where Jesus had his Last Supper with the Disciples, Tomb of King David and Church of Dormition, then walk to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was held for a night after he was arrested from the Garden. We return to Bethlehem in plenty of time for dinner.

Day 4

This morning we vist St Anne's Church where the parents of the Virgin Mary lived, we then walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, to reach the most sacred place for Christians, "The Church of the Holy Sepulcher" we visit the Golgotha and the tomb of our Lord. We then travel to Bethany to see the tomb where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, Mass will be celebrated in the chapel before returnig to the hotel for dinner.

Day 5

Today we proceed through the Judean Wilderness to ancient Jericho for Mass, the oldest inhabited city in the world. From the top of the ancient "Tel", you will enjoy a beautiful view of Elisha's fountain, the Mount of Temptation and later the Sycamore Tree. we then visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, from here we visit the Dead Sea for those who may wish to bathe, if not you may simply want to relax with a drink, an ice cream or browse the souvenir shop. We return to the Hotel for dinner.

Day 6

After breakfast check out of the hotel for the journey north to Galilee, en route we visit the River Jordan where you can renew your Baptismal promise, Mass will also be celebrated here. We visit Mount Tabor the place of the Transfiguration of Jesus, we then check in to our hotel in Tiberias for 2 nights stay.

Day 7

After breakfast we start the day by taking a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. We then continue on to Capernaum; the home of our Lord during his ministry, visit the synagogue. Drive to the site of multiplication of loaves and fish "Tabgha", continue on to visit the Church of St. Peter's Primacy. Ascend to the top of Mount of Beatitudes the scene of Jesus' great Sermon on the Mount for Mass, there will be some free time in Tiberias before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day 8

After breakfast we visit Cana where Jesus turned the water in to Wine, from here we visit the Basilica of the Annunciation for Mass in Nazareth We then make our way back to Tel Aviv to join the flight back to Manchester.
