Day 1

Depart Manchester airport for the flight to Rome. After reclaiming your baggage upon arrival, a coach will transfer you to your hotel where accommodation has been arranged for 4 nights stay on dinner, bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2

This morning, we will visit the Papal Basilica of St John Lateran which is the Cathedral Church of the archdiocese of Rome, for Mass, we then visit the Scala Sancta (the steps that led up to the praetorium of Pontius Pilot in Jerusalem which Jesus stood on during his Passion on his way to trial). We then make our way to the Basilica of St Mary Major and the Church of Perpetual Help before lunch. In the afternoon visit the Basilica of St Pauls outside the Walls.

Day 3

The weekly Papal Audience will take place at 09.30am - tickets will be given by your courier. The afternoon is free to explore St Peters Basilica; Mass will be celebrated late afternoon in a local church.

Day 4

After breakfast visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva for Mass, there will then be a walking tour of the historical centre taking in the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon & Navona Square.

Day 5

Depart for the airport to join the flight back to Manchester
